Yes. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S), which is the credential Texas requires in order for your supervision hours to count toward clinical licensure.

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council requires 3,000 hours of supervised clinical social work practice completed over no fewer than 24 months, including at least 100 hours of supervision with an LCSW-S. No more than 10 hours of supervision count in any 30-day period, so the hours are meant to be spread across your whole supervision period rather than compressed at the end. Rules change — confirm the current requirements with the Board before you plan your timeline.

Clinical case consultation, ethical decision-making, documentation and professional standards, managing imposter syndrome, navigating complex systems, building a sustainable career, preparing for the LCSW licensing exam, and exploring leadership and supervisory opportunities.

Both. Group supervision gives you other perspectives alongside mine and costs less per hour; individual supervision is focused entirely on your caseload and your development. Many supervisees use a combination of the two.

Supervision is a collaborative experience based in mutual learning. My role is not to provide all the answers, but to help you develop confidence in your own clinical judgement and professional voice. I will challenge you when needed, celebrate your successes, and support you through workplace stress.

Group supervision is $50 per hour. Individual supervision is $100 per hour.
